The Kongo Nohgakudo (Kongo Noh Theater) establisehd in 2003 is located to the west of Kyoto Imperial Palace near the site of the Office of Muromachi shogunate (1333-1568) then called ' The Palace of Flowers' which was highly associated with development of noh play. The stage of the theater was transferred from the old Kongo Nohgakudo built more than 130 years ago. The audience facing the stage built in 19th centry in the 21st century Kyoto may feel long tradition and splendor of the performing art and would be brought far back to the 15th century.

* Daimonji Okuribi Noh Play : Aug.16 starting at 17:30
* Kongo regular noh play - held every month (except July and August)
